What Is "ballpark" pricing?

Lockers can be a complex item to estimate properly. You have to have all of the information needed to come up with accurate pricing. In the case of lockers, items such as filler panels, sloped tops, recessed trim, and Zee bases require us to review a fully dimensioned plan view of the lockers to come up with an accurate quotation. That can not be adequately addressed from an online estimator at this point.

Why have "ballpark" pricing in the first place?

Many times people just need a number to place in their budget. Others want to determine if the lockers they want will fit into their budget. This "ballpark" estimator will meet that need.

How accurate is this "ballpark" pricing?

That depends on your requirement. To a certain extent the number of lockers needed will determine the final pricing. As with many things, the more lockers you buy, the better your discount will be. In the "ballpark" pricing, we do not discount the list prices shown. This builds in an allowance for the cost of filler panels, sloped tops, and Zee bases. In some cases that may be too much of an allowance, in others not enough of an allowance.

How accurate is the freight pricing?

It is fairly accurate, but freight prices are a moving target. As fuel prices rise and fall, the freight carriers adjust their shipping costs to the consumer. A freight quote you receive today may not be accurate when the lockers actually ship. Keep in mind that the typical lead time is 6-8 weeks on production lockers. It may be longer in the summer months as that is the peak demand time for lockers. Schools schedule remodeling and new construction during the summer months when school is not in session.

How long are these "ballpark" prices good for?

As a general rule, you can allow 30 days for these prices. If you have a requirement with an extended lead time, please contact us and we can provide you pricing for extended lead times. A good example is in new construction when the building won't be ready for the lockers until 6 months to a year from now.

Keep in mind that when you are ready to go beyond the budgetary or planning stages, you will need to submit your requirement to Cisco-Eagle for more complete pricing.

Are there any other costs to consider?

The pricing provided does not include unloading, assembly, or installation of the lockers. You will also need to allow for the cost of anchors or other fastening devices which may be needed to complete the project.
